    BUG: DATE CONDITION can be circumvented by changing system date on computer

    HI JOT FORM SUPPORT

     

    WE HAVE A CONDITION WHERE BY IF START DATE IS TODAY-3, THEN SUBMIT BUTTON GOES HIDDEN. BUT ACTUALLY THERES A WAY TO GET AROUND IT, ITS BY CHANGING THE SYSTEM DATE TO PREVIOUS DATE. 

     

    HOW CAN THIS BE STOPPED?

    FOR EG 

     

    CURRENT DATE (TODAY) IS 16/12/2013 AND IF YOU ENTER IN START DATE - 16/11/2013 , IT WILL SHOW YO A MESSAGE SAYING YOU ARE LATE AND SUBMIT BUTTON GOES HIDDEN. 

     

    BUT TO GET PAST ABOVE, IF YOU CHANGE THE SYSTEM DATE TO 16/11/2013, THEN YOU CAN SIMPLY PUT THROUGH THE START DATE AS 16/11/2013 AND YOU GET NO MESSAGE? THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM, CAN THIS BE FIXED?

    HI JOT FORM SUPPORT

     

    WONDER YOU COULD ACTUALLY ALLOW {DATE} INSTEAD OF TODAY, SO INSTEAD OF TODAY-3, IT WOULD BE DATE-3? I THINK THEN IT WOULD RESOLVE THIS ISSUE, SO EVEN IF THE PERSON CHANEGS THE SYSTEM DATE ON THEIR PC TO GET PAST THE DATE CONDITION, THEY WOULD GET ERROR MESSAGE AS ITS NOT BASED ON SYSTEM DATE?

    Thanks for contacting us. I am able to replicate the problem on the date it did circumnavigate when I change my Date settings on my computer.
