ISSUE: Users cannot upload documents to form

Asked by arakla on December 16, 2013 at 02:44 PM

I have created a receipt submission form, but when a user tries to upload a document, it brings up an explorer window to choose the documents, however after selecting the files and trying to start the upload, nothing happens.

When I try to submit the form from the jotform website and upload documents, it does in fact work. When it works, I am accessing the form from the my forms page.

    Form Name: SDC Receipt Form

    Hi,

Do you have the form embedded to a page? If yes, please let us know the webpage URL so we can further check. Uploading a file using the form direct URL does not give me any issues so I am thinking that there might be a conflict between the form and the webpage.

Basically, you can fix conflicts by re-embedding your form using our iFrame Method: Getting the Form iFrame Code so please kindly try it. Update us here is this solution doesn't resolve the issue.

    Thanks

We are using the direct link and have not embeded it any page. I don't have any issues either when I access it from the my forms page. But when not logged in and using the form, that's when it doesn't work. This has been confirmed by multiple people on various platforms.

    Hi,

What is your browser when uploading files? Also, what's your current OS? Try using a different browser such as Google Chrome with its latest version, if that works, advice the same to your users. This usually happens in an older version of Internet Explorer.

And, it really works to my end without issues:

Yes, you can establish the max size per file. As for the moment the upload field in your form shows 1 MB to be accepted as a max size. Please increase the number in multiples of 1024  (for example 10 MB = 10240)

To do this, please select the upload field and then go to the toolbar to make the changes
