    Post Code Address look up

Asked by dorsetholidaylets on December 17, 2013 at 12:14 PM

Can you provide address lookup which many forms offer, it works by typing in the post code and then the form looks up addresses with that post code, you then select the correct address. Saves a lot of typing.

I am from the UK so need UK address lookup.

    Regards

    @David,

Thank you for contacting us. You can try these new widgets that jotform has recently released.

    1. Address map locator

    2. UK city picker

    3. Zip code auto suggest

    4. Geo complete

Widgets can be found on the left portion of the form builder:

Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Hi

I just came across this post whilst loking for exactly the same thing.

The google widget almost works but not quite.

I believe that David was looking for a widget that does the following:

You have a question that says enter post code

When you enter the post code another question opens where there is a list of possible house numbers

You selct the number and it auto populates the full postal address.

This is a common feature on UK based forms.

Any ideas if this is likely to be available as I would like it as well

    Regards

    Paul

    Hi

Just been doing a bit of research and came across this site http://www.tabcat.co.uk/

I'm not a software developer or I'd have a bash at doing it. Is there anyone at jotform who could develop this into a widget? you already have it for Zip codes

    Regards

    Paul
