For example, I want some of the cells of the row to be filled in with text, others to have a pulldown menu to choose an option from, others to have a number field.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Michael,

If I understood you correctly, yes you can create such form fields with JotForm online forms that you can, in turn, embed on a webpage. To insert a field to be filled in with text, please use the Text Box field type. To make a pulldown menu, insert a Drop Down field type. And, to have a field accept only numbers, insert another Text Box but this time with Numeric validation activated.

To have these form fields placed side by side in a row, Shrink the fields so that the fields will fit into a single row.

Could you please clarify what you mean by a spreadsheet row? Do you mean you want a form built into an Excel spreadsheet? If so, you cannot do that using JotForm since JotForm only creates online forms that you can use on your website.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Thank you for your interest in JotForm!
