Kan jag få bekräftelse på inkommande post via mejl?

Asked by violetta on December 25, 2013 at 07:39 PM

    Hej, jag har två frågor:

    Hi Violetta,

Please correct me if I've me if I've misunderstood your question.

Is your question all about the email notification that does not contain all the filled information? Are you saying that there are missing data on the email notification? If this is the case, recreating your email notification should fixed it. Just delete your existing notification and create a new one.

Feel free to let us know if I've missed or misunderstood your question. Hope this helps. Thanks!

Hi, thanks for your reply. I'm not good at English but I trying to translate via Google. I think you have misunderstood my question.
    1. The questionnaire that I have created is OK. The person who fills in get the confirmation that it has been filled in. My question is if there is the possibility that I get a message too every time someone fills out the form. As it is now I have to log on JotForm and check if someone has filled in. If there is the possibility that I can get automatic confirmation so my next question is how I can do it for it to work.
    2. On confirmation at the top are in big letters "Infocruise'13" and I wonder what that means and if it can stand my name instead or other words. The confirmation email also stands as a sender "undefined [noreply@jotform.com]." Could it be my name instead? If it can be so how can I make these changes?
    Regards
    Violetta

    Hello Violetta,

Upon checking your form, I found that you have only added a auto responder in your form. That is the reason the person who fills the form, gets the submission email (auto responder email).

If you also want to receive the submission emails, you need to add a notification email. Here is a guide which should help you setup notification emails:  https://www.jotform.com/help/25-Setting-Up-Email-Notifications

In your auto responder email template, the subject line has the text "Infocruise'13" and that is the reason you see this text in your auto responder emails. Here are the steps to change the email template subject line:

    1. Load your form in editor.

    2. Click on "Setup & Embed"

    3. Click on "Email Alerts" and then click on the "Thank you" auto responder

    4. In the "Compose Email" window, you can edit the subject of the email template:

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any question.

    Thank you!

    Hello again,
I hope you will bear with me. I have now made all the changes and there's only one thing left that I cannot handle.
When the customer receives an automatic reply can be seen still text undefined [noreply@jotform.com]. That it stands JotForm does not do anything even though it should be my e-mail instead. but the worst part is that it says UNDEFINED. It can make people do not read the mail. Are you up to the last statement to me? Giant thanks.
    Violetta

    Hello Violetta,

Please accept my apology. I missed to answer that part of your question.

If you do not want to send emails from noreply@jotform.com, you can also setup a custom "Sender E-mail" option. These guide should help you:

    https://www.jotform.com/blog/86-Send-Form-Emails-From-Your-Own-Email-Address-JotForm-Now-Support-SMTP

    https://www.jotform.com/help/236-How-to-use-Mandrill-to-Send-Emails-From-Your-Own-Email-Address

Upon checking your form, I found that you have input the "Sender Name" as "undefined" and that is the reason you see that in submission emails. Here are the steps to change it:

    1. Load your form in editor.

    2. Click on "Setup & Embed"

    3. Click on "Email Alerts" and then click on the "Thank you" auto responder

    4. In the "Compose Email" window, click on on the "Reply-To and Recipient Settings"

    5. Here you can input the "Sender Email" :

    Hope this helps you.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
