How do I make fields which have the focus maintain their transparency?

    With the many Forum questions about making my Form Transparent, I have managed to make my Form transparant on my site.

    When I am visiting the site en want to fill in the answers in the different fields, a yellow(isch) banner is shown on each field I am clicking on.

    Is it possible that the form will be transparent, even if you click om the fields ?

    Many thanks!

    Hi Sven,

    With the form loaded in the form builder, go to the Setup & Embed Tab and click Preferences. When the window pops up, click the Field Styles tab and disable the Highlight Effect:

    When done, click the Close Settings button and save the form.

    It's working perfectly !

    I am impressed by this perfect Form-making service on your website !

    Also very impressed by the the very complete and correct (and fast) answers on the questions asked by customers.

    About the transparent options, is it also possible that the Errors (when a visitor fails to enter the correct information) also be transparent ? instead of the Red highlight.

    Many Thanks for your answers !

    And have a Great  NewYear!

    Thanks so much for your compliments and New Year wishes, Sven.

    Yes, it's possible to make the red (pink background) highlight transparent too. Please add the following rule to the form's injected CSS:

    .form-line-error {
    background: none;

    If you also wish to remove the error message and just have the red borders on the textboxes, add the following rule too:

    .form-error-message {
    display: none;

    Incidentally, the Background tool on the Form Style tab can be used instead of injected CSS to make the form's background transparent. Just enter the word transparent:

    Should you need further assitance with this, we're always here. (Well, some of us will be in a somewhat celebratory mood, you understand, but surely some of us will be available! :)

    Happy New Year!

    Thank you for your answer. (and your NewYear video !)

    I am looking forward to work with these form making website in 2014, for my website.

    Just one question.

    Can I adjust the default color of the text  under the fields, where a visitor must fill in their data.

    (for example, streetname, first name, etc)

    In my website (where the forms are transparent, these textlines are hard to read)

    With regards

    Yes it is possible, to resolve that, just insert this CSS codes to your form:

    color:#000000 !important;

    You can change the color to the desired one.
