I incorrectly entered an email address when the account was created. Now when I go to edit the address in the profile settings it sends a confirmation email to the incorrect, non-existant address.
The current, incorrect one is email@example.com
The correct one should be firstname.lastname@example.org

I've opened a ticket for your request. You should get a notice on this thread once the issue is resolved

You may now change your account's email address directly, without a need for confirmation.
