How do I hide fields in the Approval Screen?

On my form I have several fields that are used for calculations or lookups or used later in the workflow process to hold status. I have these hidden as they are just noise / clutter up the visible form or because it doesn't make sense to show the yet to be finalised information early in the process. Some of the workflow (and thus setting of some of the fields) will be actioned as part of one or more of the approval processes (via and Edit Form link to the form).

When using the approval workflow, I see that after clicking on an Approve link in the email that is sent upon form submission, that all of the fields are listed. Is there a way to control which fields are included and which are not?

Just to clarify, are you referring to the fields displayed in the Inbox page like the one below?

Or are you referring to the email that is sent once the submission has been approved/denied? If you are referring to the email, note that you can customize the content right within your Approval Flow page:

The inbox page. Yes I was across how you can change the content of the email as for other emails/notifications to include tr not include fields.

I wasn't sure if there was a way for you to hide certain fields or for the inbox view to respect the visibility of the fields based upon the form settings.

    Greetings.

You can hide the questions from the Inbox settings:

Fields you set as hidden here won't be visible even when the approval flow is opened.

    Oh that's great!

So if I set a field as hidden here, is is hidden for all other users too (for that form)?

    Hello,

If you're referring to people who are working on the form, then the answer is no. They can still see these hidden fields as a reference for the current workflow set in place. What my colleagues have advised you is all just hiding them from the front-end.
