    Pending Submission

    One of our members did not understand the paypal payment system and as a result he has been added to the "incomplete payments" We have a loose check on one of the fields "membership No" and I can only assume that he is not able to restart the Booking because of this, he says he gets an error message "a multiple session information box saying the system does not allow this" His words

    If I delete this entry in "Incomplete Payments" will this allow him to Start Again?  I am rather loathed to switch off the loose check, but I may have to if the Restart of Entry is not possible after deletion in the "incomplete Payments List".

    Should I delete the entry in the "Incomplete Payments" if I do have to switch off the Loose Check?

    You dont need to switch off the loose check option. I would suggest to delete the incomplete payment and since  you have loose option selected, the user may need to clear his browser's cache or perform the submission from another browser or computer.

    For example, if the user performed the submission through Chrome, He/She may try Firefox, where the cookies of the loose check have not been stored.

    You are a little vague, using the word 'suggest' on whether the deletion will solve the problem, so I will leave that in place and allow the user to use another Membership Number. The cache clearing etc might be beyond them, so I will give that a miss as well.

    Hello Willy,

    On behalf of my colleague, you are welcome.

    Asking your user to use another system should be an ideal solution because "Loose Check" setting will not allow multiple submissions from one system.

    As you have "Membership Number" as unique question, you will have to allow this user to use another membership number.

    Yes I have advised him what to do, 1136 + 1 = 1137 no other members with this number - problem solved I hope.

    Your information is valuable I did not know that the browser controlled that, wellworth knowing !!
