Google Sheets integration: When selecting to integrate to an existing worksheet, a new worksheet is still created.

When i authenticate it shows spreadsheets in my drive but not the shared drive

Unfortunately the Google Sheets integration lets you upload the submissions only to a personal drive, and there is no option to use a shared drive.

As a workaround, you can either use Google Workspace shortcuts to post the submission from your personal drive to the shared drive, or then create an integration with Zapier. With Zapier, you can connect JotForm directly to the shared drive.

I understand, i did use my personal drive. When I connected it to the
existing spreadsheet and used an existing workspace name, it then created a
duplicate of that worksheet instead of using the existing. Is there a way
around that?

Unfortunately, it is possible to select only Sheets that are on your account. You could add shortcuts of your Sheet to the shared Drive.

Apologies for the confusion.
Unfortunately, currently that is how the integration is designed to work - when you select to use an existing Spreadsheet, the integration will still create a new worksheet within the Spreadsheet.

I have forwarded this to our developers as a feature request, and I noticed that there were already a couple of similar requests existing. However, we cannot guarantee an ETA, or that the feature will be implemented.
As soon as we have any updates, we will inform you on this ticket.
