I am looking to add limits to categories using the inventory widget. Is there a widget that has this feature or could one be made that has a way to limit the amount of items that can be chosen?

To clarify, do you want to set a limit on the number of items that can be ordered in the inventory widget? If so, you can set up the "Available Quantity" option to limit the maximum numbers of orders and configure the "Quantity Range" to limit the number of orders per order.

Here is the example:

We have a section where a person can pick 32 items total from say 4 different categories. Is there a way to set a limit a 32 for that section?

It seems that you are using the Input Table field. You can add the Form Calculation widget to calculate the total items and then copy its value to the number field and set its maximum value to 32. Please refer to the steps outlined below.

1. Add the Form Calculation widget and configure the formula to add all the items
   
   
   
2. Add a number field and set the maximum value to 32.
   
   
   
3. Add a condition to copy the Calculation result to the number field.
