Google Calendar: Delete old appointment when the person reschedule through edit link

When a person reschedules by editing the submission, the new appointment is added to Google Calendar but the old appointment stays on the calendar too, leaving 2 appointments for the same person. Is there a way to automatically add the new and remove the old from google calendar?
