Is there a maximum character size (number of characters) for a Long Text field?

The user will enter Text (articles or stories).

For Long Text I see there is a means to set a long length in characters or words.

Is there a maximum character size (number of characters) for a Long Text field ?

The maximum characters/size for long text is 65,535 bytes (up to ~65,535 characters). Over the limit characters will not be saved by the server. The limit is same with Short text field.
