Smart use of calculating fields in E-mail possible?

Asked by svenvanderveen on January 12, 2014 at 03:22 PM

I want to make a form with 5 cd's which I want to sell, but in the Order-Reply-mail I only want to summerize the cd's that are actualy ordered.

So, if 2 of the 5 cd's are ordered, I don't want the reply mail to look it like this :

    CD 1 : 0

    CD 2 : 0

    CD 3 : 2

    CD 4 : 1

    CD 5 : 0

    But more like this :

    CD 3 : 2

    CD 4 : 1

    Is this possible ?

    Kind Regards,

    hello 3

Try  to go to"Setup & Embed">"Preferences">"Advanced Settings" tab and enable the "Hide Empty Fields on Emails".

It works the way you described it!

But it would be great to edit the text in the email notifier also.

    But that isn't possible ?

    kind regards

    Hi Sven,

Unfortunately, once the text in the body of the email alert is edited, the the Hide Empty Fields on Emails functionality will be broken for that particular email alert. You can still edit the subject of the email alert though.
