Can conditions be put on multiple choice options within a field?Asked by 4Hregion1 on January 13, 2014 at 02:20 PM
We have a field with multiple choices/options. For each option, we want to limit the entries to only twelve each. Is this possible? Can we put conditions on the options or just the fields?
Thank you for contacting us. I am not sure if I understood you correctly. But are you trying to achieve to limit the form submissions to 12 depending on the chosen option on a specific field? Is that what meant? Unfortunately, our "Submission Limit" is restricted only to the form itself and can not be associated with a condition or based on user choices on particular field
Is this what you meant?
Can we put conditions on the options or just the fields?
Yes, you may put conditions based on a chosen field option depending on what category you choose to do you can either show/hide fields, send a different notification, redirect to a different URL or show a different Thank you message.
What you can not do when using conditions are affecting values of each fields or just like above, applying Submission limits per each option. For more information about Conditions please refer to Smart Forms Using Conditional Logic
Please let us know if this is what you have in mind or you can also correct me if I got off-tracked from your original inquiry. Thank you
