Input Table not showing anything under comments section.

    On my Toolbox meeting form -

    • The picture quality is poor. You can hardly read the names, even if the photo is taken using I-phone.
    • The automated report which I receive on submission does not show anything under the comment column, but If I download the report from the submission area it shows the content under comment column. I have attached the snap shot.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, the Take Photo widget does not allow changing the image resolution.

    You can try changing the Take Photo widget to a file upload field. If your users use a mobile phone, they will be given an option to take a photo.

    Regarding the PDF report, may I ask you to delete the current PDF report from the PDF editor, and create a new one instead? Attach this to the email, and please make a test submission to see if you can see the comments in the PDF report.

    I deleted the current PDF report & created new one. But still its not showing any thing under comments section.

    Moreover, I can see the column filled with data in PDF Editor.

    To replicate the issue in email-attached PDF document, do we have green light to add ourselves as an email recipient to your notification email before we submit your form?

    The report submitted with notification email, doesn't have content under comment column.

    But if we go under submissions and download the report from there, it contains the content.

    As I mentioned, to replicate the issue in email-attached PDF document, do we have green light to add ourselves as an email recipient to your notification email before we submit your form?

    But I cannot add another recipients on notification email.

    My colleague was asking permission to add another email address in the form to test the issue. Since you have a free account, only one recipient email can be added in email alert.

    I have cleared your form cache from here and sent a test submission in your form. Please check the submission PDF document you have received in email and see if the comment section along with data is being displayed successfully or not.

    Do get back to us if the issue persists.

    I have tested with a cloned version, and the email attached PDF document shows the input table with the comments column filled as shown below.

    I tried Cloning, but still same issue. The email attached pdf doesn't have data under comments. and even the sections selected under Yes & NO are different on PDF report. I have attached the snap shot of PDF.

    I am sorry for the trouble caused to you. I am not sure what is causing this issue. When I checked your form's PDF editor, it seems to display the comments correctly.

    I have added a new PDF document template in your form. Please test your form again by sending a test submission and see if the submission emails shows the comments correctly or not.

    I actually replied it on the snap shot.
    The issue is till the same. The PDF report coming in email is not having the data under comment section and even the checks made in the table are not right.

    Thank you for the confirmation.

    I also cloned your form, and was able to replicate the issue.
    I added three comments on the form, but only one of them is showing in the PDF that is attached to the email:

    I have forwarded this to our developers. We do not have an ETA, but as soon as we have any updates, we will inform you on this ticket.

    Yes, the answered checkboxes are also placed in the wrong option in the attached PDF, but being displayed correctly in the email.

    Please note that we have already escalated this issue to our backend team. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.
