Wasn't sure what question i needed to ask.... i set up a form in jotform a couple months ago. it has worked great. but now that i am working in jotform again, i am frustrated. stuff doesnt seem to be working.
the new form is not emailing me, i cannot just click on the name of the form and bring it up (whether i click on it in the my forms menu or at the bottom of the screen near login), i had a hard time making a desktop link to this form, whereas before, i think it was an option. cant remember for sure though.

We always work on JotForm bugs. But please open separate forum thread for each bug report you would like to make. Since we assign bugs to developers using this custom made forum, we need to make sure each bug is on a separate thread. Thanks.

Bug 1: not emailing me, fix: we use a hardware spam blocker, something about the way it comes through on the second form i created looks like spam. so i whitelisted jotform. all is good now.
Bug 2: still cannot just click on a form and bring it up. instead i have to use edit or preview options. this seems odd to me. maybe it's just me though.
Bug 3: making a desktop link is difficult. Fix: not really, just use the embed button. it will show you your shortcut.
Bug 4: i never even mentioned this, but i hate the way it keeps autosaving changes. sometimes i want to undo changes and cannot! that sucks bad. Either way. Jotform is awesome. thanks

Like what Aytekin mentioned, you should open separate threads for each and every bug that you find in our system. Anyway, I believe that the bugs you have found are not exactly bugs.
Bug 1 is a spam blocker issue
Bug 2 is not a bug. That is how our platform works since there are a lot things to do with a form rather than just bringing it up. Viewing submissions, creating reports, deleting, and editing to name a few.
Bug 3 this I don't quite understand. What do you mean by a desktop link?
Bug 4 is not a bug. Please refer to this page to disable autosave.
It is well advised that you search our forums or ask around for help if you need it. Our support team are always ready and eager to assist users with regards to their forms.

sorry, no bugs. just my issues.
do you know what items in a form are most likely to cause a an expensive barracuda antispam device block it as spam?
I would like to see a form just pop up when clicked on. i also like the other features associated with the forms, such as editing or previewing.
i put a shortcut on desktops for my forms, rather than putting the link in a web page. do you know what i mean?
i will disable autosave. im not fond of it.

Spam emails are email offers that are unauthorized or uninvited by the owner of the email account. This began the birth of an opt-in policy for email marketing blasters who are targeting users. Here are some two possible reasons why an email can possibly be blocked:
1. Setting up an email address as your sender - An email can possibly be blocked by anti-spam due to an IP address lookup conflict. Example, you have set a hotmail.com email address which is actually coming from jotform.com. Some strict spam blockers interfere email transmissions with this issue as from years back, spammers have done this method.
2. Using some commonly used spamming symbols, words, and phrases that are normally being blocked such as $, stocks, shares, stock market, dating, pills, 100% guaranteed, Enlargement Pill, Viagra, etc. on the content of the email, especially on the subject line.
I believe there is a way to configure your anti-spam device to whitelist/allow to pass through emails coming from jotform.
When you say a form pop-up when clicked on, do you mean the feature such as lightbox or feedback? You can try a preview when you edit your form and then doing the following steps:
1. Click Setup & Embed tab
2. Click Embed Form
3. On the Form Embed Wizard, under Display it on your site, click Lightbox or Feedback
4. On the next page, click the Preview button
This will open a new page and you can preview how the Lightbox or Feedback form works
As for your preview before submission request, it would be best if you create a new post for it and make your request there.
I'm not sure if there used to exist a create-a-desktop-link to your forms, if you're looking for the right clicking your mouse and getting the option 'Save link as ...', I believe this is no longer existing (if it existed back then). What you can do now is copy the URL of your form, press right click on your desktop > Select New on the menu and create a shortcut, then place the URL there.
If you have other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to create a new post.

sorry, this post has gotten slightly confusing. I have learned my lesson: only one specific issue per post!
i wouldn't mind if this whole thing is deleted. If you dont mind i will try to end this now.
I had originally four issues or problems, which seemed like bugs to me but were ultimately just my error. Here they are and their answers or resolutions:
My first issue was that i was not getting emails when my form was submitted. It turned out that it was my spam-blocking hardware. It saw my form as spam. Liyam's answer above clarifies why forms might be blocked and in my case it probably was due to words i used in the subject as well as the jotform domain rating on my hardware. Thanks Liyam.
My second issue was that i was not able to figure out how to see my form as it would appear in a web page. I didnt want to see a preview; i wanted to see the form, with its actual link in the address bar and try it out. I just wanted to be able to click on the name of my form on the jotform "my forms" menu and for it to open up my form in a new window. I dont need any further help with this, i know how to get what i was looking for without this feature.
My third issue was that i couldnt figure out how to get the address or link for my form. I finally figured out that i could click on edit, then click on embed, then copy the direct link and then create a desktop shortcut to that link. Liyam explains that process further at the end of his response. Thanks Liyam.
My fourth issue was that autosave kept saving changes that i didnt want. Niel provided a link above that explains how to disable autosave. Also, the undo button is quite useful. manually save when you get things the way you want. Cool! Thanks Neil.
