    Hi,

The only means to revise or modify the form is by using the form builder and saving the changes.

If there are other users that can access your forms like the sub-account users,  then the form can be modified this way.

I could see that you have sub-accunt user that have permission to modify your forms. Please check with them also.

I am sorry, but I cannot find the means that its JotForm that could have replaced your form with an older version.

Please inform us if you still have issue.

    Thanks.

No other account accessed except me. The credentials of the other accounts have not been distributed.

The problem is the software because I have posted on my server a backup of the correct form (exported with JotForm with html and js) created on Wednesday, January 15. Link to this version is this: http://www.progettopiter.com/piter/demopiter/bck17genore7/fw/9%20Gennaio%202014%20FOLLOW-UP%20PITER.html.
Then I tried to create a new form by importing it via url with the vesion backup, but I find myself magically with the form related to the old version.
    How is this possible?

Finally, it is not the first disruption of JotForm: Previously one morning I found all my form renamed "p". Then in the afternoon the original names were restored.

Please it is vital to recover the correct version
    thanks

    Hi,

If you had copied the form using its source code into your server, I would like to inform that the form you have in your server is no longer attached to the form builder.  This means that if you modify/update the form in the form buider, the changes will NOT reflect in your back-up copy of the form in your server.

The process you did is similar to embedding the form into a website using its source code.

Whenever you embed the form using its source code on a website, if you need to update the embedded form, you will have to get again the latest version of the source code in the form builder and re-embed it on the website.

Then I tried to create a new form by importing it via url with the vesion backup,
I am not sure how you do this process. Are you trying to import the form back to the form builder? There is no means to achieve that.
To create a form using the form builder, you have to do it manually from scratch or clone  and existing JotForm form.
I am not sure there is a way to recover the correct version of the form using your back-up copy.
It will require re-creating the form again manually using the back-up copy as hard copy instead.
    Thanks.

    Hi,

I know all about the fact that my copy with JotForm exported and installed on my server is independent of the original form in JotForm. Among other things, this is not the problem.

The procedure to import that I have used is this:

    1) I created a new form from scratch.

    2) I chose the option imports module focusing on my url. This is the updated version that has been deleted and replaced by JotForm with the oldest.

    3) I JotForm has recreated the old version and not the one to which I point through the url.

The strange thing is that JotForm run of bailouts continue on having done a lot of changes and modifications can I restore the old version. At most avre had to lose the modifications of a field. I've lost countless hours of my work

    Hello formonline,

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.

    2) I chose the option imports module focusing on my url. This is the updated version that has been deleted and replaced by JotForm with the oldest.

Can you please share the URL of the form you have imported? You mean to say you have cloned your form and then did the changes and these changes are lost now?

Unfortunately, currently there is no way to restore the older version of your form. One of the reasons could be that you have logged in from a different browser and loaded this form in editor. Please be noted that we have auto save feature in form editor and if save form is loaded in more than one browser, one editor will always overwrite the version of another form editor.

    Thank you!
