    Hello,

    I have two questions:

    Q1.

We are looking to collect data over Jotform. Can the data be sent securely over email in a text file or some importable file format (e.g. text)?

    Q2.

Can all data submittted using our form over time be stored in a database or some importable file format, so that we can do an import of all submissions and bring it right into our database. We are trying to avoid manual re-entry of data?

    Thank you,

Hello, here are the answer to your questions.

We are looking to collect data over Jotform. Can the data be sent securely over email in a text file or some importable file format (e.g. text)?

User submissions can be sent individually through notification emails. Unfortunately with the Notification Email only PDF versions of the submission can be sent via a link. So it may not be an importable format. Nevertheless, you can use integrations to to have your submissions synced over to a Google SpreadSheet, Dropbox Account and many other services.

Service such as google spreadsheet would make it easy for you to compile your data to later import to other applications.

All form submissions are stored in our databases, so you can access them for future use. In turn, you can export the submission data to Excel and CSV format.

Do let us know if you need further assistance. Thank you.
