There is a Google form add-on called formRanger. This enables drop-down choices to be opoulated dynamically from a google spreadsheet. Using this it is possible for several forms with a common field to all use the same spreadsheet column to hold their choices. In this way the list only has to be maintained once. Is there something similar in jotForm? ie hold the option list only once but shared by a number of forms?

Unfortunately this is not possible, at least I can say it definitely goes beyond the functionality provided by the JotForm builder. Nevertheless, you might be able to produce the neccesary functionality by using the source code of your form.
I would definitely suggest looking into using the source code of the forms to try out such functionality. In any case, we can also raise a ticket to the development team as a Feature request, if you so desire. This way they can look into this and evaluate the possibility of developing such features.
Do let us know if you need further assistance. Thank you.

Thank you for your response. Yes please, to your Feature Request suggestion. How do I raise a feature request?

I have forwarded a feature request to our dev team. We cannot give an ETA on this but you will surely be notified if this feature has been implemented or not. We thank you for your patience.
