Calculate the total for the client

Hello, I am trying to include an invoice on my pdf contract where i can select the service and qty and it calculate the total for the client. Is this possible? I have tried playing with the tables option and i can't seem to figure it out. Essentially, i want a small interactive table that will calculate the total based on the service selected from a drop down menu in a table

I think I have figured out a very time consuming way to do it through the conditions - is there a way to hide the input sections on the form i send to my clients but have the information i input show up on the pdf?

    Greetings,

You may consider using Form Calculation widget in calculating your total price.

    Here's a demo:

In the demo above, there are no conditions involved. Only two form calculation widgets.

You can hide form fields if you want. Just make sure that you don't delete its equivalent field in the original PDF.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

This does help but can you provide step by step on how to create that form? I need to replicate it with different services 5 or 6 times in the one form.

Also, Is there a way that when i send this to my clients, they only see the output on the pdf for this part? I would like to limit access to this portion to myself in the form only but have them be able to review it on the final PDF. Is that possible?

    Thank you for your response.

    (1) Retain using your dropdown field for Bridal Trial. Do not forget to add calculation values.

    (2) Use number field for your Qty.

    (3) Add two form calculation widgets to your form for your Price and Total. We don't need to add any conditions. Just follow the formula below.

I checked your form but it does not have an autoresponder email. To clarify, do you want to fill the form yourself and send the PDF to the client?

    Looking forward to your reply.

Yes - I want to be able to fill in the form myself and send it to the client for them to sign. I can see pre-fill as an optio but when i do that, it doesn't calculate automatically into the other fields.

I have tested the manual prefill and it does calculate.

Here is a sample link https://form.jotform.com/211933179871968/prefill/60ed804b1c30831a3e3014619b25

Kindly give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Richie,

ive gone about it in a different way instead of using the calculation widget. Am I able to share my form with you so you can see what I’m talking about?

    Greetings,

I cloned your form, showed the hidden fields for demo purpose, and prefilled Bridal Trial.

The calculation seems to work fine.
