Submision PDF Output: image transform to its original sizeAsked by transformmn on January 23, 2014 at 12:04 PM
for some reason all of a sudden my form header has completely gone haywire. It used to work fine, and now it looks like this...and the text is so tiny I can't read it. and all of them are doing it. What happened???
That is because the PDF output generates the actual image size which is on top of the form. Let me forward this thread to our developers so they can further check and investigate.
For now, if possible, please change your form image header to the actual setting size which is: 63px by 244px
The image header is set to 63 x 244. It's just a logo that's in there. It's worked fine for a couple years. Now all of a sudden the size is crazy big. Any further instructions would be great, thank you.
A ticket is already created about the issue, and it's currently assigned to one of our developer. We'll update you here once this get fixed.
Resizing the image to 63 x 244 before adding it to your form should fix it. Otherwise, you can wait our developers to fix it :)
It was only very recent that the image element has been added to PDF reports. This is why your PDF reports created before were fine. In addition, Welvin was right. The images created on the PDF were getting the original size of the image. Since the original size of your image is 1024x566, it tried to scale the width to fit to the PDF report, and then resized the texts to proportion of the image. As a result -- micro font sizes.
Fortunately, this bug is now fixed and your PDF reports should appear fine again. You may download your PDF reports again from the submissions page if needed by going to the submissions page and then pressing the Get PDF button on the upper left.
In addition, may I suggest to instead upload and use a smaller image rather than using HTML or CSS enforced image resizing. This way, it can help make your form run and generate reports faster.
If the problem persists on your end, please do let us know. We'll be more than happy to assist.
Thanks for your patience and we apologize for your inconvenience.
Wonderful, thank you very much for fixing it and for the fast customer service!
