Although HTML is also used in email contents, there are elements which are not allowed and will not work on emails and one of them is a script code. As such, we cannot implement a feature like that because of the limitations of html in emails.
Currently, we do not have any feature that does calculation within the form, except for the grading field which only adds up values entered and the payment fields which totals the prices of items selected. I believe there have been requests for Excel-like calculation features and as far as I know it has been added to our feature request list.
As in the case of every other feature request, we will announce if this gets approved and completed. We cannot give a lead time for implementation though, if implemented at all.
