Dear JotForm team,
how do i download all the submission images as once or as a zip file.
- allanftdAnswered on July 01, 2011 at 02:44 AM
At this time, only the text submissions can be downloaded at once as an Excel or CSV file. Sorry but uploaded images, documents and other files attached by the users can only be downloaded one by one. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Thank you for using JotForm!
- laoscgAnswered on July 01, 2011 at 02:59 AM
Isn't there even a folder that stores all these images in the server? can't i just make a request or ftp to have the folder?
If it is only few submissions, it wouldn't be a problem. But, i expect to have up to 200 submission downloading one by one wouldnot be a practical solution.
Could I request this feature to be add by Jotform?
- allanftdAnswered on July 01, 2011 at 03:15 AM
We'd be glad to include your suggestion (dedicated folder for uploaded files) in our to do list since it is a more convenient and efficient way of collecting files from your users. We'll post on our website once this has been implemented but we cannot give an ETA at this time.
By the way, since you've mentioned it, you can use your FTP account or DropBox account to have your files and submissions downloaded straight into a folder of your computer. Please refer to these threads and tutorials to learn how:
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Thank you for using JotForm!

Dear Jotfrom support team,
I already set up the "dropbox" link from JOTFORM, however, it seems like i still need to click one by one record to transfer or download the information or data submitted by a user in my form. And, worst yet, i can only choose field by field, not the entire database records.
How can i DOWNLOAD all these entries as once?
- JotForm SupportliyamAnswered on August 09, 2011 at 12:24 PM
As it was stated by my colleague, Allan, we don't have a feature yet where you can download submitted data all at once.
He suggested the use of FTP and/or Dropbox for the purpose that your submissions and file attachments will immediately be stored in your FTP server and/or your computer. So at the moment, what you can do is manually download your attachments one by one while you can continue with your use of dropbox starting the next submission that you will receive.
Hope my response clarifies some issues.
- laoscgroupAnswered on August 09, 2011 at 12:32 PM
event i use the integration with FTP there is no option to integrate with my image. Not to mention i can only select one field per record not the entire record. I find that is not pratical at all. I suggest you guys should look into this asap.
- laoscgroupAnswered on August 09, 2011 at 12:45 PM
I do appreciate your fast response.
Again, i have 200 record +. I am sure there's a better solution you can offer me here. Maybe, your team can set up a FTP fodler with username and password for me or save all the entries for me somewhere and give me username and password to access them. or, maybe email them or allow drop box and ftp integration for the images.
- JotForm SupportliyamAnswered on August 09, 2011 at 12:52 PM
There is no integration with any image for using FTP. What you only need to do is connect it using your FTP username and password. If you're looking for a way how to download your past submissions. It is not possible to use this feature. You can only use the FTP and Dropbox on future submissions once you integrate your jotform account with Dropbox and/or FTP.
Unfortunately what you can do this moment is download these submissions manually. I will ask our next tier support if there is anything that they can do about this.
We apologize for this inconvenience.

After re-reading your posts, I'm wondering, and I'm rethinking if I misunderstood you somewhere. What Dropbox does is automatically download copies of the submitted data to your own computer.
If you say you still need to download them; I'm not sure but I would like to ask, have you installed dropbox in your own PC?
Will wait for your response.
- laoscgroupAnswered on August 09, 2011 at 01:44 PM
thank you. I did but i dont know why i can't get all 200 + records as once. I get only about 20 records. which i am trying to figure out why and how it that happen? did i miss something here?
- laoscgroupAnswered on August 09, 2011 at 02:02 PM
Could you please help figure out why my drop box integration allow me to get some files, i.e. about 20 also folders that contain each record but not all my 200 records?
what did i miss?

Can you tell us when you have integrated your Dropbox on your account here and installed it in your PC?
- laoscgroupAnswered on August 09, 2011 at 10:35 PM
I did it when I messaged you last, so about 8 hours ago.
And, will i still have the data entries including pictures on JOTFORM server?
Any news on how JOTFORM could help?
- laoscgroupAnswered on August 09, 2011 at 11:20 PM
Is there a way i can style the PDF sent out to drop box?
As i want to be able to print out the style that i want.
- JotForm SupportliyamAnswered on August 09, 2011 at 11:43 PM
If you have recently integrated and installed Dropbox, then as I said, you won't be able to download previous submissions through Dropbox. You will only receive future submissions right after you have installed/integrated it.
There is also no way to style the PDF you receive thru Dropbox.
If you wish to download your submissions, you can get the links on your submissions page and download your submitted data via CSV and/or Excel
You can get all the submissions to that file. As for your attachments, there are less than 30 images to download from the submissions in that form so I guess that can be done manually.
If you have other questions or concerns, please let us know.
- laoscgroupAnswered on August 09, 2011 at 11:52 PM
I figure out a way around to get the older records via dropbox. But, can you confirm if all the entries including pictures will still be on JOTFORM server even after i integrated with dropbox.
- allanftdAnswered on August 09, 2011 at 11:53 PM
If you just set up Dropbox in your computer today, you won't be able to get the old files and submissions. But starting today, if your DropBox desktop app is properly synced with your DropBox.com account (which, in turn, is integrated with your JotForm account), you will receive all picture files and submissions straight to your computer.
What JotForm can provide you right now is the default submissions page which, at this time, allows you to download the files individually. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thank you for using JotForm!
- JotForm SupportliyamAnswered on August 10, 2011 at 12:49 AM
In addition to what Allan said, and to answer your question, yes, all submissions will still be kept in Jotform's servers.
I'm wondering, can you please tell us your thought about downloading previous submissions?
- limcollegeAnswered on November 03, 2014 at 10:20 AMIt has been 3 years since these posts... has a way to download hundreds of individual files quickly been figured out yet? I did not set up dropbox or ftp on the form. I am very surprised that there is no "download all files in zip" or a view of the folder that they are stored in with a bulk download feature.

I've moved your question to a new thread: http://www.jotform.com/answers/453374 as this allows us to address it properly.
