    sales tax on a "purchase now" form?

    Asked by JAAstudios on January 26, 2014 at 02:49 AM

    I was wondering if adding a sales tax field for forms that just use the "purchase now" (no paypal) option is possible. if this isn't possible, I'd like to know if it's on the "to do" list (and an estimated time?). The form I've been working on isn't finished (although I really love it so far), but since it would be rendered useless without sales tax I'm just attempting to get this information before pouring more work into it. Thanks for your time!

    purchase tax love thanks

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    Unfortunately, there is currently no way of adding a tax field to your Items.

    It has already been submitted as a feature request - but I cannot provide a timeline at this time.

    I will, however, raise a similar ticket for your thread so that you can track the progress as well.

    @JAAstudios

    I'd like to inform you that it is now possible to add a sales tax to your purchase order form.

    You can also specify which product to exempt from tax and even enable location-based tax surcharges.

    Kindly give it a try and let us know what you think.
