Prefill from Form causes a blank grey page.

    Ive been trying to send a prefill Form but when I get to create it the page goes blank and shows nothing. This happened in the browser page, in different laptops and in the iOS app.

    Hi,

    I have cleared your form cache.

    May I ask you to clear your browser cache, and then try to create a new Prefill?
    If that would not work, please let us know.

    Hi! I've tried this and it still does not work, same with the phone app.

    Could you give us a link to the form that you are trying to prefill the form from?
    Also could you let us know some example fields you are trying to prefill, so that we can test the issue further?

    Hi,

    Thank you for providing the form.
    When I tested the prefill, I was able to reproduce the issue, and the grey page appeared also when trying to edit the prefill settings.

    I have forwarded this to our developers. We do not have an ETA for the fix yet, but as soon as we have any updates, we will inform you here on this thread.

    Meanwhile, may I ask you to try to use the Manual Prefill or any of the other options, to see if they will work?

    Hi! Manually prefilling does work, and prefilling with another type of source also works.

    The only other thing I notice is that when I want to share a prefill the only way to get the working URL is trough sending the form via email, the "copy URL" option does not work, nor the displayed link on the bottom of the form.

    Hello!

    The Prefill is currently not active on your form, so we cannot check what's up with the links, however, my guess is that the problem is with the Access Setting of the form set to Company Access, as the link that actually works is an assignation link, that automatically assigns the users who click it to be able to complete the form.

    If you'd like us to troubleshoot the links, please add an active Prefill to your form.

    As for the Form Prefill resulting in a blank page, I am able to reach the page now - it does not result in an error on my end:

    Could you please check if this issue persists?

    If so, could you please check using the Chrome browser?

    Hello!

    It seems like the "form" prefix is causing this issue - when changing the links to links like this:

    https://www.jotform.com/202454861348054/prefill/61097bfee354ae06763f9611d181

    The link seems to be working.

    I will split this issue off into a separate thread and escalate it to our developers as well.

    In the meantime, you can use the links with "www" instead of "form".

    Also, I've checked the Form Prefill option while logged into your account, and I'm getting the blank page too, so it does not seem to be resolved yet - I apologize for the inconvenience.
