Autofill Payment informationAsked by biiainsurance on January 30, 2014 at 01:11 PM
The user fills in contact information at top of form ... is it possible to autofill the auth.net payment contact info in automatically from the information filled in top of form ?
I was thinking I could just take the "name" of the top portion and set it as the "value" within the auth.net form but thought I would check here first.
I hope my way too many questions will one day be able to help others out :o)

If that is what you need, let me inform you that it can be accomplished by using the form source code only as it's not possible by using the already existing features of our builder. Here is how you can get the form source code: How to get your form source code
The detailed steps to accomplish this workaround can be found in this guide: How to enable prepopulating fields
Kindly inform us if you need further assistance with this inquiry.
Yes, the checkboxes would be great !! Reading the guide now ...
also wondering though, this is an onclick event .. can it be done automatically ? then if they need to change it they can?
JotForm Support Manager
The workaround as it is will allow the user to change anything despite the onclik event.
I am not sure if what you propose is logical. Allowing a user to duplicate user's info should always involve an action from the user, so an Onclick event is necessary unless the user doesn't want this.
Checkbox worked like a charm ... Thank you guys !!
