scottwill7625Answered on July 02, 2011 11:45 PMI created my site in a website builder, and built a form in Jotform to allow customers to upload documents to an email address at GoDaddy, my host. But all that gets uploaded is the file name, not the file itself. How do I fix this? Is there a file I need to give to make your Upload function work?

Hi scottwill7625,
I noticed that in your form's Submit Form Submission email notification, the template is written in Text Mode. Please re-do your email notification template and make sure that it is in HTML Mode so that all text formattings and hyperlinks will be saved:
Hope this tip helps. Please let us know if you need more help.
Thank you for using JotForm!

Hi,
In addition, only the link to the uploaded file which is hosted in our servers can be attached to your email notifications, not the file itself. Uploaded files cannot be attached to emails to avoid bandwidth hogging issues. It is also for the benefit of the email recipients. It will give them the option to download only the uploaded files that matter.
