    Forum suggestions to adust column width with css injection has no effect?

    Asked by mdlewis1 on January 31, 2014 at 04:08 PM

    Tried to use the following code with several different pixel sizes in my form but none seem to have any affect.

    .form-checkbox-item {

        width: 200px;

    }

    Trying to center the 4 options horizontally across the page.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    Did you want to increase the size of the checkbox?

    Please try injecting the following rules:

    #input_3_0, #input_3_1, #input_3_2, #input_3_3  {
    zoom: 1.4;
    }

    You can adjust the zoom upwards to increase the size - 1.5, 1,6 etc, and vice-versa to reduce it.

    Please let us know if this helps.

    Thanks for responding but that code had no effect either and what I really want to do is insert space between one checkbox/label and another checkbox/label so that I can achieve a more centered appearance for the four checkbox/labels spread across the four columns of the page.

    Thanks,

    Mike Lewis

    Hello Mike,

    You can center the checkboxes by adding this CSS code:

         #cid_3 { text-align: center; }

    Please do let us know if you have further inquiries.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for responding Liyam but unfortunately that code has no effect either. You are of course, welcome to clone the form and try for yourself.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi,

    As suggested already by my colleague the CSS code like this

    #cid_3 { text-align: center; }

    .form-checkbox-item {

    width: 200px !important;

    }

    should work.

    I tried it using a clone of your form http://www.jotform.us/form/40284133898158

    to this form http://form.jotform.me/form/40315074622445?

    Hope this help. Please inform us there is more we can help you with.

    Thanks.
