    skipping required fields freezes IE

Asked by corcorance on April 15, 2010 at 10:47 AM

IE freezes if I skip past a form field using the tab key - even if I try to tab back to it.

I imagine this is very frustrating to my users... Can you look into this please?

    Hi Corcorance,
I just posted too. But I must ask you, are you using an HTML frame or box? If you are (like I have been and I suppose many are) you will need to replace this with an actual HTML fragment pasting. Many 'front end' web page builder applications have both. The fragment option allows the code to work smoothly and I have corrected the 'hanging' problem you are experiencing by doing this. Instead, it just highlights in pink, something you have to go back and fill out. Problem here is that the highlight can be a bit disturbing. Get back to you when I learn more.

I found the paste HTML as a particular option icon that should exist somewhere on all front end applications.

    Hi Dom,

The way our website is set up I can't drop the HTML fragments on to the page without creating other problems on the site. Jotform V2 worked fine, and I really need that same basic functionality.
