    Asked by coombesharpe on February 04, 2014 at 10:57 PM

    Hi

    http://form.jotformeu.com/form/40348525230346

    My form has more empty space after the submit button in IE than it does in FF.

    Is there anyway to correct this?

    Thanks

    Hi Danni,

    Is this form already embedded into your website? Can you please share to us URL of your website where your form is embedded for further assistance?

    Thanks,

    Hi Danni,

    I've took a look at your website where your form is embedded and I was able to reproduce the issue. In order to fix this, you need to use some custom css to fix the height of textarea which causing the issue.

    Inject this custom css into your form:

    #input_9.form-textarea {

    max-height: 166px !important;

    min-height: 166px !important;

    }

    If you need further assistance, please let us know.

    Hi

    I added that but it still looks different in IE and FF. In FF the submit button is touching the border of the box behind it in IE it is quite a bit further up.

    Hi,

    Upon checking your website where your form is embedded, I found out that you are using form source code which is the reason why the update/changes you made in your form is not reflecting. Can you please re-embed your form code into your website using iFrame method instead?

    If the said issue still persists, please let us know.

    Hi

    When I embed it using the iframe method I get a White flash before the form loads, which doesn't look good, hense why I embedded it using the sourse code, this stops the flash.

    Is there anyway to use the iframe but stop the white flash?

    Hi Danni

    if you prefer using the form's source code, then, make sure to get again the updated source code version (after you have added the CSS code to fix the issue) using the form builder.

    You will have to re-embed the new source code into your website for the updates/changes done on the form to reflect in the embedded form on the website.

    This is the behaviour of the form when embedded using its source code -- the source code needs to be updated manually every time an edition is done on the form.

    Unlike the default embed or iframe code embed, the changes done on the form in form builder will automatically update also the embedded form in the website.

    Can you please share to us the URL of the website where you have embedded the form using iframe code? We will test also.

    Thanks.
