ryersonreceivingAsked on August 13, 2021 at 5:19 PMI second this question/request. My use case is the following:
Have customer submit a form using the Product feature to receive a quote and then they can approve or update as needed, with automated emails reminding to approve.
The second step or second form will be choosing the manufacturer they are ordering from, qty, and expected delivery date with an open text box to enter tracking #'s when they're available.
I would like to send the second form automatically with reminder emails once they approve the quote. Without this feature, I will need to manually send them the form or come up with a workaround.

Hello @ryersonreceiving,
Please note that as my colleague Vick mentioned in his previous response, it is not possible to connect different approval flows, nor is it possible to connect multiple forms to the same workflow.
In your case, you may want to consider having all of this workflow on one form instead of two separate forms. Since you will not be able to connect both forms to the same Approval Flow, you will not be able to trigger emails on the second form from the first one.
If you need to have the two forms separate, you will also need to build two separate Approval Flows and configure them to work with each form.
Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns, we are always happy to help.

Thanks Felipe. In this scenario, I need two separate forms because the qty, manufacturer, and delivery date will change once they have the quote approved by their customer.
Hopefully, linking two approval flows together can be an added feature down the road

Hello,
I have made a feature request for you to have the ability to link 2 approval flows together from different forms.
There's no guarantee that this will happen or an ETA of when it might get done. If this is added you will be notified via this ticket.

@ryersonreceiving,
If I understand your query correctly, you want to send the second form to a specific user once the quote is approved. In this case, you may consider setting up an email after the Approve and add the link to the second form in the email.
Let us know if that works. If you are referring to something different, please provide us with an example using your forms so that we can check and guide you in the right direction.
Thanks!

Hello ryersonreceiving,
We implemented the Assign Form function. Now, you can send follow-up forms to someone.
By simply dragging and dropping the “Assign Form” element on the approval flow builder, selecting which form and whom to assign, you can assign another form to your participants. When the assigned participant submits the form, flow continues along the path you defined.
Please see the GIF below for how it works:
1- Building the flow using the “Assign Form” element
2- When you start your approval process, your assignee will receive a notification email that says a form is assigned to him/her. You can track the progress of approval flow and see the submission of the assignee through Inbox and Tables.
If you have any other feedback or request about Jotform Approvals, please let us know. We would like to improve Jotform Approvals with your feedback for everyone's benefit.
