I have a requirement to set up a system where by a form would be set up to "mirror" the cells within a small spreadsheet.
Can i set up a form to display the contents of the spreadsheet?
And then to update the spread sheet with the changed fields?

Unfortunately, we do not have such feature. There is no way currently available to read/write data to a google spreadsheet.
What can be actually done is directly embed a google spreadsheet in an iFrame. That should be very close to your requirement. You can use the "Text" field to embed your form.
Here is a demo form I have created for you: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/40403652672955
Feel free to clone this form for a closer look. This guide should help in form cloning: https://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL
Hope this helps.

I Cloned the Form but when i tried to edit the new form i kept getting a message saying that my browser window was too small to display the full contents i had to change the size of the browser window, unfortuneately the window is already at max screen size, so i am slightly confused as to what to do next.
Also i think i know where this is going, and it is not what i was looking for unfortuneately.

Upon checking your account, I could not find the cloned form. You must have deleted it as not what you were looking form.
But unfortunately, that is the only way to read/write and to an excel spreadsheet. There is no other option to display the spreadsheet in your form.
