Does sending email notifications recipients need to have premium account? Bigger question inside

Asked by regnark on February 11, 2014 at 06:02 PM

    Hi:

I might have a problem,  probably due to lack of info and i have searched the forums and faq in other terms a "noob",  have tested with various methods and my question is,  for multiple email notification recipients do i need to have a premium account?  Checked the pricings but it only says 1 subuser,  does it relate?  because i need to send the forms for 2 emails,  the default and a second one.  Since im trying to send  the form with the test button but it just sends it to the default email,  that is if the notification programming window is only programmed to send it to the default email.  I have tried with commas email@email.com, email@email.com  manner,  without the space,  with the ; sign, without the commas and just space,  and also i made another notification 2 with the recipient only to the second email and it only send it to the defaul email.

    Thanks...

    Hello

Subuser means that you can define another subaccount and for instance grant access to only one or more of your forms, defining if it is possible to edit the form or view the submissions.

You can define more than one recipient to your email notifications, even with the free account. and this can be done by creating two notifications or simply separating email address by commas (like you did).

You can try changing the sender email, as this sometimes creates issues:

But you can tell us the emails you are trying to add so we can check if they are in our bounce list.

Also you can check our guide on how to prevent email bouncing issues.

Let us know please if you need further assistance.

Thanks for the reply,  the last option regarding email bouncing,  im still testing,  but when the email bounces does it reflects here in the fotform systems?   here what i did:

Made a new email alert notification #2>  set Name in first option then second option no reply,  third option none >  renamed it to notification #2 > deleted my email that i subscribed with here from rocketmail.com that is in the recipient box (i dont have a problem with this email sending test alerts)  and placed an hotmail.com email>  go to second page,  press test button and when the small window comes up,  it says test email sent to the defaul email that is fron rocketmail.com,  the one i erased from the recipient.

and my issue is that i do the recipient combinations with commas and is the same,  does the test feature only sends it to the default email?

Yes, the test feature will send notifications to the email address used to open your JotForm account. In order to make sure that you will be getting the notifications to the email addresses you have set on your notification, you will need to do a live test in the preview mode of your form.

Once you save the changes on you notification, Click Save, and next to it, click Preview and fill the form.

Also, make sure not to leave in Blank or None the fields on your notifications, a proper way would be this:
