    I wish to add a box that can be signed and initialed on a pad to the jotform i just created. How do i do this?

    Also Is there anyway to making the answer box larger so the patient can see more of the body of the response while they are writing it?

    I have changed the number of characters but this just makes a long thin box that goes all the way to the right.

    ipad and JotForm number of characters all

    Hallo Jamie,

    You can use the signature under Widgets.

    To get the signature widget, just click 'Widgets' on the left panel of your form builder and search for the keyword "signature".  There will be two types of signature available, the original e-Signature and the newer Smooth Signature.  Feel free to choose which one you prefer.

    If you have other questions or concerns, please do let us know.

    Thanks.

    Hi Liyam

    That's great i popped the signature function in no problem.

    I have two other questions.

    1 - How do i add a email address that the forms will be sent to?

    2 How do i make the answer boxes bigger so the patient can see their entire response as they are composing it?

    Thanks for you're help

    1. Please take a look a this guide to set up email notifications.

    2. You can increase the size of the boxes:

    Click on the Box field, then on Properties: Tex Box, and finally on Size.

    Let us know if you need more help. Kindly open a new thread per each different question next time, so this would help others.

    Thanks, I will start an new tread next time.

    I have tried that function but i just extends the box off the form like this.

    I want the answer box to go deeper and stay within the  form boundries.

    Can you let me know how to do this?

    @Jamie

    You can use this http://tinypic.com/ to upload your image, the, share to us the URL link of the uploaded image so that we can check also.

    You can also inject CSS code to the form (guide: -How-to-Inject-Custom-CSS-Codes) to auto-width the textboxes to match the form width. Something like this

    .form-textbox{width:450px;}

    I did checked your account, but I did not found any form yet. We can help more with a suggestion if you can share to us the URL of the form you are working on.

    Thanks.

    I don't want my box to go off the page like that.

    I want it to get  deeper.

    I'm not sure if I understand correctly what you mean by deeper. But since you do want your users to write an explanation. have you considered using a Text Area, instead of a Text Box.

    A Text Area should also allow you to add or remove Rows. So you can customize the height or amount of area your users can view, in which they are placing their text.

    Ok that's how you do it.  Oche!

    So to get bigger boxes i would then have to go in exchange  the Hundreds of text box questions to text area questions over all the forms i created, then re enter all the questions manually or is there a way i can switch from text box to text area  without doing all that? I have a feeling no right?

    Thanks for the help
