Notify customer by SMS after form submission

    Possible to send a sms notification to customer's mobile after an order form is submitted? Thanks.

    Hello Neon,

    This is possible but before the message can be sent, you must determine the domain of the mobile carrier's SMS gateway so in your case you have to know which provider your customer is using.

    A sample to that would be AT&T Enterprise Paging -

    Thank you for your information.

    My buisness is located in Hong Kong region and I can find some carriers in your link provided.

    Seems I have to know the mobile carrier that the customer is using, but usually only mobile number is captured in the form, any alternative that can send SMS by knowing mobile number directly?

    There is a widget called "SMS Confirmation" in JotForm platform, is it a choice in my case?

    Unfortunately the SMS Confirmation is used only to verify that the phone number provided by your user is valid. It does this by sending out a confirmation code to the user's mobile, they would then need to type in this code into the widget.

    In which case, unless one of my colleagues has any alternative. This functionality would not be possible, directly from the Form Builder. I would suggest looking into 3rd party services that can perform such service, or contacing a web developer to create the functionality of merging mobile phone numbers to the domains.

    Thank you for your answering.

    I will follow your adivce to find some 3rd party services, just worry that how it can be integrated with JotForm, as I would like to sent out SMS confirmation message to the customer when he submitted the order form via JotForm platform.

    Moreover, I find below case quite closed to my need,

    Yes that'd help as well. If you've done creating email e.g., set this as one of your form notification's email recipient to received sms notification on your mobile.
