    Is it possible to moderate submissions?

    Asked by T68  on February 13, 2014 at 12:54 AM

    Hi!

    I wonder if it's possible to moderate submitted answers before they appear in the html report? I'm looking into using jotform for a contest where answers should be listed publicwith the html report, but I want to approve them before they are published.

    Thanks for any answer to this!

    Hi there!

    That's possible by using this app. http://apps.jotform.com/app/submission_verifier

    Let us know should you have further questions.

    Regards!

    Hi!

    Looked at the app but it looks like it´s only for the responders to verify their own submissions. I need the verifying to be done by an administrator that is supervising the contest. Can this app be used for that purpose to and if so, how?

    @T68

    The app suggested by my colleague can be used to mark/flag a submission as 'verified' by anyone who receives the verification link, which means it can also be the administrator. However, the 'verified' flag isn't anything fancy, it just simply changes a field value on the form submission data.

    With that said, I don't think there is any other explicit way to achieve your desired output, as the HTML report can't do filtering of any sort.

    If you know someone or can hire someone who knows a bit of web scripting, you might want to take a look at the JotForm API.
