Does your order form complete the sale?

We run a book business, selling military history/reference books online. Kind of specialized stuff. You can see our order form at We sell a number of titles and many of our sales are shipped throughout Europe.

Our problem is that we need an order form that we can easily edit, have SSL, but not have completion of the sale. It needs to gather the credit card data for the order (when CC is the form of payment), so we can complete the sale upon shipment of the order - as every shipment/destination has a different best method for shipping which is always a different cost.

Will your forms allow us to collect the data without completion of sale?

Our use is minimal. A dozen orders a month through most months. In a heavy month, maybe 30-40, only a couple of times a year aligned with a new book release.

Unfortunately, collecting such sensitive information on our forms would be violating our terms of use.

In any case, we do provide secure payment gateways that can help you process the credit card purchases and also add credibility to your site.

Services such as PayPal, Stripe & Authorize.Net do collect credit card information and allow processing of the payment manually once you are ready to charge the customer, as opposed to charging the user when they perform the submission to your form.

Do let us know if you need further assistance. Thank you.
