**nizar.g.qassis**hallo,

i have 10 field in in my form, and i added a spinner, what i want to do is that if the spinner is equal to 4 then

hide the other 6 and if it's equal to 5 then hide the last 5 and if it's equal to 6 then hide the last 4 and so on.....

the problem is that only the first condition works and the others don't, if i change the spinner value to 5 all 10 field will

be shown.

is there a more accurate condition to do this ? or what should i do ?

thank you,

Nizar G. Qassis

**jedcadorna**Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

Since what you want is to show multiple fields based on the input, you can follow this guide on how to hide and show multiple fields. http://www.jotform.com/help/196-How-to-Hide-or-Show-Multiple-Fields-at-Once-Based-On-a-Single-Conditional-Entry

Please see this sample http://www.jotformpro.com/form/23088518389971? on how the spinner was implemented.

**nizar.g.qassis**hello,

so there's no other way but to use the form collapse ? i don't want to use it.

but thank you anyway,

**pinoytech**Hi,

Without using form

**collapse tool**, you can still create condition in your form using spinner. Please take a look at this clone form to see how it works.http://www.jotformpro.com/form/40543345560955

**Here's the condition you need:**If you need further assistance, please let us know.

**nizar.g.qassis**hello,

thanks for your replay, but what i need to do is not exactly what you have done,

i need the spinner default value is 3 and to show me 6 fields and then increase thespinner to 4 to show 8 field and last the spinner value to be 5 and show you all field,

i tried to do this in the conditions you provided i couldn't do it.

what i did is this:

if spinner equal to 3 or 4 or 5 then show fields 1,2,3,4,5 and 6

if spinner equal to 4 or 5 then show fields 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8

if spinner equal to 5 then show fields 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10

can you tell me please if this is correct ?

thank you,

Nizar G. Qassis

**EliezerN**Thanks for the explanation

The way you setup your conditions was partially correct, however, you miss something to get them working as you expected. You needed to use the property "If spinner is

**Greater than**" not only "**is equal to**".Now, I accomplished that by using the method suggested in this guide: How to Hide or Show Multiple Fields at Once Based On a Single Conditional Entry

That way it saved us the work to setup conditions for each single field.

If this is what you are looking for, you can clone my form and use it for your needs and also check the way I setup the conditions. Here is how to clone it: How to clone an existing form from a URL

**pinoytech**Hi Nizar,

Can you please take a look at this clone form again if this is what you want to achieve?

If so, here's the condition:

You might wondering why the value of

**quantity**is from 1 to 10. I just do that for you to see what fields have been added if spinner value change. If you need further assistance, please let us know.
