Hello, in my last message, I told you that changes in the column locations on the table correspondig to my form:

    https://form.jotform.com/210694099370865

    are not being saved.

Here is the order of the columns I need to have in the table:

    T.1, T.2 ….T.#

    O.#

    MAN.#

    ENT.#

    SIM.#

    PR.#

    PLANE.#

    PEI.#

    ING.#

    TOMO.#

    TEVA.#

    TOFOJT.#

    TOFOIT.#

    TOFOR.#

    TOFOAUX.#

    This is: first T.1, then T.2 ....

    then, all the O. columns

    Then, all the MAN. columns

    and so on.

Now, could you please, if all else fails, put the columns in that order?, I would very much appreciate it, specially if they stay that way.

By the way, this is not the first time columns don´t get saved, I recall I had to re-do the entire form adding names like ENT, SIM, PR, etc, so I could identify the columns after the Table did not update accordingly.

    Thank you.

Can we possibly try doing this on a new tab within the form? I don't want to mess up the current table of submissions. You have a large number of fields, and messing them up would be another nightmare to follow.

I've created the following tab: https://www.jotform.com/tables/210694099370865/212779355248062. I've added all Ts so far.

Let us know if this works for you.

    Thanks

    Hello Welvin,

From the tab you created I added columns, logged out and nothing got saved. This is becoming a real problem. I kindly ask you to either solve this issue or continue placing my columns as I specified above and save them, If I need to switch to "Gold" please let me know, also if I need to talk to someone else about this.

How is it that the work I do gets ignored? I spend hours and hours, and this form has became critical to my organization. I cannot have this kind of issues.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I have cleared your cache and did a few tests and I believe you should be able to make changes now.

Can you please attempt to add a couple of columns to the table that my colleague created and checking if they get saved?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hello there,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

At this point, I'm afraid we need to escalate this thread to our developers to investigate further and understand the reason for your changes not being applied to your submissions table.

Before doing so, could you clarify if the demo table created by my colleague kept the columns in the right order, or the issue occurred even there?

Do you need to add fields to your forms from time to time, that require you to add new columns on your submissions table? Or once set up, the columns order won't be edited anymore if we help you setting them up in the correct order?

    Thanks for your cooperation,

    Regards

I will add new columns in the near future.

I would like to ensure those columns will be reflected in the excel file exported.

We apologize for the inconvenience. But can you please try re-ordering the table column using the Manage Columns screen instead.

You can use drag & drop option to change the ordering of the columns in the manage column screen. After your changes, click on the UPDATE button to SAVE.

Here is an example screencast video on how to.

Please let us know if this still did not work and does not save the changes on the table column.

i just did it and it didn't work. I spent the last two hours re-ordering the old and new columns.

It is starting to get me upset.

I am paying the service in order to get quality in your product.

I hope you can provide me with an effective solution soon.

I trusted you and you are dissapointing me.

    Hi,

    1635760293_617fb8a5d6b95_

As you can see, I can simply drag and drop to re-order the column.

But it seems your form is not responsive to drag-and-drop.

It's perhaps due to the length of your form.

I need to escalate this to our backend team to investigate.
