    Stripe payment form

Asked by spafb1 on March 02, 2014 at 01:59 PM

I have gotten two submissions recently via my stripe payment form that have failed to process.

I see my client gets on the web site, fills everything out, submits the form, and then it shows up in JotForm, but never makes it into my Stripe account.

This is very frustrating since it takes forever to get them to pay in the first place! Now I have to contact them and ask them to pay again -- or try to.

Can you tell me what might be wrong?

    Thanks,

    Scott Alexander

I would suggest to recreate your payment tool or perform test submissions to your form with they Stripe Payment Tool on Test mode

Also, if you are receiving payments at the same time you are also receiving these failed payments, it would be a good idea to advice with the users to check their credit cards with the issuing bank.

Do let us know if the issue persists. Thank you.

Did that, and I am receiving payments in between failed attempts.

I think it's maybe just the user closing the window early.

Is there a way to force it to process no matter what the user does?

    Hi,

I think the only way to avoid this behavior is by warning your form users not to close the form window immediately after they click on Process my Payment button. To do that you need to use our Text tool to add a text saying something like "Please, do not close the form window immediately so that your payment can be processed correctly".

I hope this helps. Please inform us if you still need assistance with this inquiry.

    Thanks
