Yes you can.
You need to add sections where you want your form split into columns - name them appropriately and make them hidden:
Make sure to do the same at the very end of the form to create an end-point for the last column.
Then, add some CSS to your form, something that will look like:
This CSS will move the section over the one above, then shift it 350px to the left to position it correctly.
When you add the sections to your form, let us know (and show us the form URL) so that we can advice on the CSS code.
