    Hello postmeit,

I am not sure if I have understood your question correctly.

Do you want to restrict multiple submission for any form field with same data. That means only accept unique entries on any form fields? Yes it is possible to achieve your requirement by taking advantage of our "Unique Question" feature. The following guide should help you:  http://www.jotform.com/help/223-How-to-set-Form-Limits-Based-on-a-Unique-Question

If you want to simply prevent submission if user inputs any specific value in any form field, that is also possible to achieve. You can take advantage of our "Conditional logic" feature to show hide form fields. What can be done is you can create condition and if that matches you can simply hide the submit button of your form. If the submit button is not visible, form cannot be submitted. The following guide should help you:  http://www.jotform.com/help/57-Smart-Forms-Using-Conditional-Logic

Please take a look at the following form and see if this is something what you want to achieve:  http://form.jotformpro.com/form/40633256967967

Feel free to clone this form for a closer look. The following guide should help you in form cloning:  http://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

I forgot to mention that in the demo form, you need to input "postmeit" in the textbox to hide the "Submit" button.

    Thank you!

    Thanks,

I should have mentioned that these are being posted from a script directly to the form. So would the hiding work then?

    Regards, William

    Hello postmeit,

Do you mean to say that you are pre-populating the form fields?

The conditions of your form will work even if the values are being pre-populated. Please take a look at the following URL where I am pre-populating the text box of my demo form:  http://form.jotformpro.com/form/40633256967967?name=postmeit

    Thank you!
