Jot From Notification not displaying correctly in Eudora

Asked by kalee on July 16, 2011 at 03:22 PM

Hello, I am currently working with a client that uses an email client for Mac called Eudora.  He has an issue where his Confirmation messages are being sent to him but are not displaying properly.  It's as though there is no styling.  I really don't know much about Eudora.  I just Googled some stuff about it and quite frankly it looks like it's becoming an outdated email client which might be the issue.  But here is a screen shot.  Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

    Thanks so much,

    Kalee E.

    Hi Kalee

The problem does not appear to be on your form's end but rather with Eudora. While searching the Internet I found a couple of links which may prove helpful.

I don't know which version of Eudora your client uses but the two methods outlined at "How to View HTML Email in Eudora 5" for viewing HTML messages might be worth trying.

Another (perhaps less desirable) solution is detailed at Putting Tables in E-mail, where your client would not need to do anything to have everything properly lined up.

If your client is unable to implement either of the solutions at the first link and you have to format the message on your end, as explained at the second link, switch to text mode to get rid of the HTML table before doing anything else:

If you require additional assistance with this or any other aspect of our product, please feel free to ask. Our team will gladly help you.
