Can I choose NOT to receive submissions by email?

I don't want to receive all of the submissions through email but rather view all of the submissions from the database on this site. Is there and option to stop receiving email submissions?

Yes, that is possible. All you need to do is completely delete email notification of your form. Please refer on this article on how delete email notification.
