Why are uploaded forms not being attached to notification emails?

I have modified a form to include a File Upload dialogue.

Under Settings > Emails > Advanced, I have "Send Uploads as Attachment" set to "ON".

However, the uploaded documents are not attached to the notification emails. Am I missing something?

Under the account settings, Privacy section, I see a setting for "Require log-in to view uploaded files." The checkbox for that option is selected and grayed out so that I cannot change it. Is this why the uploaded files are not attached? If so, is this related to the fact that we moved to the HIPAA platform? And if that is the case, will selecting the "Disable HIPAA compliance" option under Data settings resolve this issue, and would it do so without otherwise affecting the forms or the Form URLs?

Hi, thank you for contacting support.

Could you also check the file size of the attachmenta?

Please note that email attachment size is limited to 5MB. This was done to improve the reliability of the email service. If the attachment's total size is more than 5MB, then the submission’s emails will be sent without attachments.

You can still download the attached files using the links included in your email notification or from your submission page.

We look forward to your response.

Apologies, I did not see this response until now.

I'm afraid this occurs regardless of size. Most recently there were two attachments, one is 69k, the other 108k.

    Greetings,

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

Could you please provide a link to the form you are referring to, so we can check further?

Note that for HIPAA accounts, PDF Attachments are allowed only if you provide a strong password. Your password must contain a minimum of 8 characters and it must be a mix of upper case, lower case, numbers, and special characters. Please write the password you want to use.

So, once you enable PDF attachment, make sure to enable and write the password you want to use.
