    Stripping the variable field values from a paypal field

    Asked by youthencounter on March 14, 2014 at 05:42 PM

    I'm trying to use these on a PayPal donation field. The information here is incorrect.

    amount = price

    firstname = ? (I've tried firstname, cc_firstname, and first)

    lastname = ? (same as above)

    addr = addr_line1, and addr_line2 (addr did not work)

    zip = postal (zip did not work)

    Any help?

    Did you append it on your Paypal field variable?

    Example: If your Paypal field variable is {myproducts}, to seprate the total you can write the following:

    Is this the form in question http://www.jotformpro.com/form/40066450386958 ? Let us know so we can check and review your current setup.

    Thanks. Yes I am trying to append on the paypal field for that form.

    If you want to take a look at the Donation Information Test email that'd be great.

    I'm suring {myproducts:price} because {myproducts:total} was empty when I tested it. Everything works except for the names.

    Try {myProducts12:cc_firstName} and  {myProducts12:cc_lastName}

    Hope that helps

    Thanks for the help. Turns out the issue was that I was urlencoding the fields. If I don't do that it works fine.
