What should I do to make the calendar to be in portuguese?

Asked by Douglas  on March 15, 2014 at 03:54 AM

I mean, I need to show in my website something like "Agosto" instead of "August" or "Julho" instead of "July" to my Brazilian visitors. The same is needed for the days of the week. Thank you.

    Hi Douglas,

If the calendar in this form is to your liking, please do the following:

    1. Download the form files as described in the second option of Step 4 of this guide

    2. In your favorite source code editor (Notepad++ is a good one but Notepad would also work), open the file named calendarview.js (located in the js folder) and change lines 20 to 45 to this

    3. Go to line 469 of the same file and change Today to Hoje

    4. Save and close the file

    5. Upload (FTP) the files to your website (please see the following video)

    (You could also use FireFTP)

That's pretty much it. Please let us know if you need further assistance with this.
