This form's submissions are showing the wrong date/time according to my selected Time Zone through account settings. In fact, the time is going backwards, which is causing new submissions to be put in order behind older submissions.

    Hi,

    We apologize about the inconvenience.

    1. First, log in to your www.jotform.com account.

    2. Click Account->Settings page. You can see there the “Timezone” and “Time Format” settings, you’ll be able to edit them there.

    account timezone and time format

     3. Save the changes and check your submissions page again to see how their date and time are now corrected.

    Looking forward hearing from you.

    Mark

Hi, like I said, it is not showing my selected time zone. I already checked that my account has the correct time zone selected. It is a new problem that only started happening today with the specific form I linked.

Edit: Nevermind. It was set to the time zone I wanted, but was not working as intended. I changed it to a different time zone and changed it back to my time zone and it appears to be working normally again.

It could be due to cache so it didn't take effect immediately. Glad you manage to sort this out and thank you for sharing it.

    Have a good one!

No, lol. It's been set to Edmonton/GMT since I made my account and has never changed for a year. It was still set to that when it started showing the wrong time. I had to change it to a different, wrong time zone, and then change it back to have the issue resolved.

I'm not telling you this because I need any more help, just letting you know that it was not working properly.

It's happening again today, on ALL of my forms. The issue was not resolved by changing the Time Zone. My time zone is currently set to Edmonton GMT.

    Example:

Email that came on a few minutes after submission was made (my email is set to Mountain Time, as is the jotform account.)

Screenshot of the submission time shown in the inbox:

    Hi,

You can switch the Timezone of your account anytime and the submission data will be updated.

But it will not change the date and time on your email alert. It will be based on the exact timezone on your PC/Device.

    ??????

I'm not asking it to change anything on my email or my PC!

I am using the screenshot of my email to show that the TIME the submission was made was at 12PM MOUNTAIN TIME EDMONTON GMT -7:00. Which is what my PC and ALSO what my Jotform account is set to.

The second screenshot is to show that the inbox is showing the WRONG TIME based on what my Jotform account Time Zone preference is set to. It is showing FOUR HOURS behind MOUNTAIN TIME EDMONTON GMT -7:00.

    Hi,

Is it okay if we submit a test submission to your form? If yes, please make sure that your device and Jotform account are set to the same timezone.

I tested this on my end and it is working fine. I am on GMT+8 and here's a screencast of my test:

We'll wait for your response. Thank you!

    Hi,

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. The problem is now fixed. The issue was related to the timezone offset for DST and a fix was applied to correct it.

Please check it again and let us know if there's still any problem.
