    Unique submission settings, set, but not saved - it shows the value as "undefined"

    Good afternoon,

    We have tried to use the "Unique Submission" option to lilmit the number of votes through a form without success.  Once we change the value to "Strict" and save the form, opening the form again only reveals the value "Undefined".

    Telling a more programming savvy colleague about this he informed me that this is most probably a problem on the server end.

    We have reproduced this problem using Internet Explorer 9, 10 and 11 on Windos 7 Professional.

    Could you please look into this and inform us.

    Please try logging out first, then log back in and and make the change.

    This time, click on the save button right away.

    I did try the workaround you suggested but it did not help with the Unique Submission field.

    Can you please list down your web browser extensions here? How about using FireFox or either Google Chrome? Can you try it and see if you can replicate the same using these two browsers?

    I remember dealing one user about this undefined value and his spell check extension is causing the issue. If you can replicate it using FireFox and Google Chrome then most likely, it's an issue to our backend codes. I need to confirm.

    Starting Internet Explorer without add-ons results in the same problem.

    Editing the Unique Submission field with Firefox works as expected.

    This said, since Internet Explorer is not an obscur program only used by a few, I expect it to work fine with JotForm.  More so, why a problem only with that option?

    We are sorry to hear that you're experiencing this problem. I was able to recreate the problem on all IE versions, and with that said, I have submitted a bug report ticket on your behalf.

    We will keep you posted on the progress of this ticket. Although we cannot give an ETA, we can assure you that issues such as this take a higher slot on our development team's priority least.

    This is fixed now. However, this 'undefined' will still appear since that's the one that was saved on your form's settings.  You will need to click it and choose one option to fix your form.
